Sts Peter & Paul’s Fete
Branding & Marketing
I was asked to design all the promotional material required for the 2014 Sts Peter and Paul’s School Fete. This Fete has become a iconic local festivity, and has a large community following. The brief on the design was to be colourful, appealing to children and families, to convey a festive message, to incorporate the school’s logo and to include the major sponsors logos. My design had to be adaptable and be applied to all types of media formats from logos, posters, web banners and even printed onto aprons! The logo was used for a variety of applications in colour and black and white formats on newsletters, colouring in competitions, bags, posters, websites and on a variety of other promotional materials.
This design format was used for many other applications including on sponsor websites, electronic armband ticketing forms, facebook media and also on the electronic sign board located out of the front of the school. This landscape design was also applied to large banners that were placed on the school surrounds and on the busiest corner of the suburb. The DL flyers that I designed along with the A4 and A3 posters were printed and distributed all around the local area. The bright and colourful design was hard to be missed. All of the Fete’s sponsors and donators were awarded with certificates of appreciation. The certificate design was based on the branding style of the fete, there were three tiers of sponsorship level, this reflecting in the three different certificates created. A reversed black and white version of the 2014 Sts Peter and Paul’s School Fete logo was printed onto T-shirts and Aprons, these were worn by the school’s volunteers on the big day. They looked fantastic! The 2014 fete design, in monochrome was also applied to turquoise coloured Eco Bags, which featured the main 2014 fete logo and top tier sponsors logos. The bags were given to each of the schools families and were also handed out at the school’s entrance on Fete day.
